I was wondering what to paint one day when I glanced over at my husband's old truck, a 1967 Chevy Pickup. It was his Dad's work truck and although rusted and worn, it held a lot of meaning and memories for my husband. I stopped and examined it for a while. The patina was really beautiful and as a classic American example, how could I resist? I painted it in oils.
