This is an original oil pastel painting inspired by a magical trip my husband and I made to Ireland. This is representative of County Donegal in Northwest Ireland. The view is so spacious. I feel it captures perfectly the atmosphere and beauty of scenic Ireland.

A shaft of morning sunlight through the trees after a stormy evening, the tranquility of cows grazing in a pasture, rapids sparkling with light on a particularly clear day, these are examples of everyday things that inspire me to paint.
