Artist's Description
I saw these two calves while I was out riding in the Chatham county, NC countryside. I stopped to take their picture as they stood in the pasture. They were shy yet curious and very sweet. While still calves, they were on the verge of adolescence and it was nice to capture them in this in between stage. The original painting is done in acrylic and has lots of 3 dimensional texture. It's gallery framed and ready to hang. Please contact me with any questions.

A shaft of morning sunlight through the trees after a stormy evening, the tranquility of cows grazing in a pasture, rapids sparkling with light on a particularly clear day, these are examples of everyday things that inspire me to paint.
