I saw these two calves while I was out riding in the Chatham county, NC countryside. I stopped to take their picture as they stood in the pasture. They were shy yet curious and very sweet. While still calves, they were on the verge of adolescence and it was nice to capture them in this in between stage. The original painting is done in acrylic and has lots of 3 dimensional texture.
