The Center for Disease Control has recommended the use of cloth face masks to help fight the spread of COVID-19.
This face mask is made from 100% polyester and includes two ear loops with adjustable grommets for a comfortable fit.
The printed area of the mask is approximately 7" wide by 5" tall. This mask fits well on adult mens' faces without the grommets but, due to the adjustable grommets, can be worn snuggly by adult women, as well.
Please note - this is NOT a surgical grade mask. It is not intended for any medical or commercial uses, whatsoever. It is a simple, cloth mask designed for everyday use to cover your mouth when out in public. The mask should not be used in any medical or surgical setting.

I painted this work from a photo I took on vacation at Topsail Beach, NC. I loved the photo for its dramatic light, the aqua blue colors of the sea and the way the tide was flowing back to the ocean over the sand. Just looking at it, I could remember the smell and taste of the ocean breeze. Capturing the sea foam moving over the sand and water underneath was a challenge I enjoyed. The original painting is done with oil pastels on 9x12 archival sanded paper.
A shaft of morning sunlight through the trees after a stormy evening, the tranquility of cows grazing in a pasture, rapids sparkling with light on a particularly clear day, these are examples of everyday things that inspire me to paint. Beauty makes us glad to be alive and I want to celebrate and share that joy through painting. Beauty is not always found in the obvious or in dramatic scenes. As I progress as an artist, I become increasingly aware of beauty found in unexpected and ordinary places. Art is an exploratory process. Each subject or concept seems to request a different approach or medium to best express its nature. I primarily work in oils and pastels but I don't limit myself.
